Criteria: For members of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Omega Tau Sigma with financial need.

Brooklyn Westerfield
Brooklyn, a first-year student from Paris, Illinois, participated in several opportunities to expand her large and small animal experience as an undergraduate. This summer she will work at a mixed practice clinic to gain hands-on learning through real-world experiences. Brooklyn hopes to work at a rural mixed general practice near her hometown after graduation.

Monica Shotwell
Monica is a third-year student from Maysville, Kentucky. She is interested in ophthalmology and zoological medicine. She hopes to use her veterinary medical education and hands-on skills to provide excellent care to all animals.

Marisa Pico
Marisa is a fourth-year student from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is interested in aquatic/exotic/wildlife medicine and hopes to pursue a small animal rotating internship after graduation followed by a specialty internship.

Stephen Grisoli
Stephen is a fourth-year student from South Bend, Indiana, who is interested in small animal emergency and primary care. Stephen is passionate about veterinary leadership, communication, and surgery. He especially enjoys the balance of hard science with compassionate care that skilled veterinary medicine requires. Post-graduation Stephen will be practicing a combination of emergency and general practice in the Chicagoland area.
