Melanie Narvaez
Melanie, a fourth-year student from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, is interested in small animal and zoo companion animal medicine. She hopes to return to her hometown after graduation to work at a small animal general practice. Eventually, Melanie would like to establish her own nonprofit mobile veterinary clinic to provide services to low-income communities in Chicago.
