Criteria: For student membership in ISVMA, continuous membership in the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, minimum grade point average of 2.5, and financial need, with preference given to an Illinois resident.

Tess, a third-year student from Homer Glen, Illinois, completed a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in French language at Central Michigan University in 2022. She is interested in small animal general practice and is especially passionate about the human-animal bond. She has a special interest in feline medicine as well as organized veterinary medicine.
