Andrew Sliger
Drew is a second-year student from Central City, a small village in southern Illinois. He hopes to complete a one-year internship in emergency medicine before settling down in a rural/suburban area to practice in small, mixed, exotic, and wildlife animal medicine. Knowing that he will take the Veterinary Oath to help ALL animals upon graduation, he plans to see and treat any patient, regardless of species, to the best of his abilities and if he is able through his legal scope of practice.

Benjamin Polo
Benjamin, a third-year student from Gillespie, Illinois, is particularly interested in mixed animal medicine and also likes veterinary business, rural practice, and emergency care. Ben was chapter president of the student Veterinary Medicine Business Association and hopes to use his business knowledge to further his career and potentially own a practice that serves a multitude of domestic species.

Taylor Miller
Taylor is a fourth-year student from Belleville, Illinois. She is interested in mixed-animal medicine and hopes to own and operate her own veterinary practice in her hometown soon after graduation. She looks forward to helping educate the community about the value of preventive care for their pets and livestock through the FFA Alumni and other agricultural organizations.
