Gregg W. BeVier has served as the Chief Operating Officer for Inguran since January 2017. Dr. BeVier received a BS in Agriculture, MS in Animal Science, DVM and MBA all from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana.

Dr. BeVier brings extensive experience with over 40 years in agriculture and livestock. Prior to joining STgenetics, Dr. BeVier was the Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation where he established the livestock funding team. During his tenure at the foundation, about $250M in livestock grants were made to grantees in Africa and India. Dr. BeVier also worked at Merial, an animal health company owned by Merck and Sanofi-Aventis. He reported to the Chairman as head of PAGE (Production Animal Global Enterprise). PAGE was responsible for $800M in annual revenue. Before joining Merial, Dr. BeVier worked with Sygen (FTSE) first, as Group Technical Director and then as President of the Americas and as an executive Board member for five years. The Americas region was responsible for 85% of the profits for PIC and he helped establish the royalty model for payments related to genetic improvement. Dr. BeVier also worked for Premium Standard Farms as the Senior VP of Livestock Operations and was responsible for the production of 3M pigs per year. He was part of the management team who raised $300M to finance the growth of the company. Prior to Premium Standard Farms, Dr. BeVier held various positions in Pig Improvement Company (PIC) as staff veterinarian, VP of US Sales and VP International Sales.

In 2004, Dr. BeVier received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois.

Dr. BeVier is originally from a suburb near Chicago, Illinois and has traveled extensively throughout the world. He and his family have also lived in England and Spain. He has moved 14 times in the past 40 years. He enjoys helping others achieve their dreams and advocates servant leadership.
