Ross Wantland is a farm-raised, social justice and violence prevention educator with nearly 20 years of experience in higher education. Ross is the Director of Curriculum Development and Education at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, having previously worked as the Director of Diversity & Social Justice Education and the Sexual Assault Prevention Educator in the Women’s Center. In his current role, Ross provides training, coaching, and coordination around equity efforts on campus. Ross lives in Champaign with his amazing psychologist partner, their emo kid, cat & dog, and can be occasionally found tending his pandemic garden.
