Dr. Danielle Strahl-Heldreth is a 2014 graduate of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, after which she went on to complete a specialty internship in Anesthesia at Illinois and a small animal rotating internship in a private practice in Indianapolis. Dr. Strahl-Heldreth saw the error in her ways and returned to Illinois in 2016 and completed a Residency in Anesthesia and Pain Management at the University of Illinois in 2019. She successfully boarded as a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2020. Dr. Strahl-Heldreth has continued her training in pain management techniques through the study of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and is working toward certification in veterinary acupuncture (CVA). Dr. Strahl-Heldreth is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, where she continues to contribute to the development and implementation of safe and effective anesthetic and analgesic protocols for all species.
