Pharmacology Residency Opportunity
The Colleges Department of Veterinary Biosciences and Pharmacia & Upjohn Animal Health jointly announce a program that combines a masters degree with clinical training in veterinary clinical pharmacology. Two years of the three-year program will include study to complete the prescribed and elective graduate course work requirements for both the graduate degree program and credentials for application to the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology. The candidate will also conduct research in clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, analytical methods, or a related field and provide clinical pharmacology consultative service to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. One year will be spent at Pharmacia & Upjohn Animal Health, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Applicants must be licensed veterinarians with one years experience in practice or in an internship. Tuition waiver, stipend, and other benefits are available. Apply by January 7, 1999, for the position available July 1, 1999.
