Illinois Phi Zeta Research Emphasis Day

Friday, April 9, 2010
Phi Zeta Research Emphasis Day is a day in which the College of Veterinary Medicine recognizes and supports the outstanding research being done by its graduate students. This event is open to the entire college community and attendance is encouraged. Graduate students, who wish to participate, submit their abstracts to a review committee who makes the final selection of presenters. Throughout the day podium presentations are given in the areas of basic science and clinical research. Graduate students also have the opportunity to present their work at a wine and cheese poster session which is held at the end of the day. The presentations and posters are judged by a review panel and the top three presenters in both presentation categories and at the poster session are recognized at the end of the evening.
