News-Gazette (Jan. 28) – Pet food companies often focus their marketing on specific ingredients to appeal to certain consumers, but a particular ingredient does not mean the product is superior, according to Kelly Swanson, an animal-sciences professor at the UI who lectures on nutrition to students at the College of Veterinary Medicine.
