  1:15 p.m. Laparoscopic Surgery Instrumentation and Equipment
Light sources, telescopes, insufflators and insufflation, cannulae, surgical instruments, hemostatic clips, MIS stapling devices, and energy devices.
  2:30 p.m. Break
  3:00 p.m. Laparoscopic Approaches
Cannula types, placement locations, insertion techniques.
  4:00 p.m. Psychomotor Skills Exercises
Training stations will be used to gain experience with the instruments and video montior; evaluate disposable MIS devices, stapling devices, and energy devices.
  5:30 p.m. Adjourn

Live animal recoery surgery. Cannula insertion, exploratory, liver biopsy using energy device, and ovariectomy/ovariohysterectomy using energy device, and gastropexy.
