Common Small Animal Toxicoses

The theme of this year's course is the Pre-Triple Crown--two days of challenging and fun small animal toxicology events that is sure to inspire learning!
The course will begin on Thursday, March 26, at 2:00 p.m. with three one-hour lectures to be presented at the ASPCA Midwest Office in Urbana, Ill.
A keynote speech by Dr. Richard Ripper, laboratory manager of Lipid Rescue, will be given at 6:00 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and tours of the Animal Poison Control Center will be offered.
The course will continue on Friday, March 27, at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where participants will compete in three Triple Crown challenges and will work in teams to solve cases. Participants can form teams of five members or, if preferred, teams will be randomly assigned.
The winning team will be selected based on scores from all three of the events. All members of the winning team will win book prizes.
