Learning to Care for Pets
Urbana Series Information
This series is co-sponsored by the Companion Animal Resource and Education Center.
Maximum registration is 60 individuals per session. Although Pet U is designed to provide you with information about caring for your pets, these sessions are open to humans only.
The registration fee covers the cost of handout materials and refreshments. Payments must be enclosed to guarantee registration. The prices listed below are per person, per session. The early registration deadline is noted with each session listing.

Please note that the first aid and CPR session has a $35 registration fee and only early registrations can be accepted for this session.
Course fees are payable by check or money order to the University of Illinois or by Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express and are due at the time of registration. Early registration is recommended.
The registration fee is redeemable in clinic services for all paid session registrants (with the exception of the first aid/CPR session). A coupon will be provided upon check-in at each session.
Session materials will be available on the day of the session just inside the entrance of the Small Animal Clinic beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the evening of each session.
Attendees may park in lot F22 and follow the signs to the check-in at the entrance to the Small Animal Clinic. The entrance to the F22 lot is off of Hazelwood Dr. Attendees should NOT park in the Large or Small Animal Clinic client parking. These spaces are reserved for evening clients.
Full refunds will be given if written notification is received by the published early registration deadline. Written cancellation should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or to the same mailing address to which registrations are sent. Registrations are transferable. After the published early registration deadline for each session, refunds will not be made. This date is noted with each session listing.
We reserve the right to cancel programs and to change speakers if necessary. In the event of course cancellation, all registrants will receive a full refund. The University is not responsible for travel expenses in the event of a cancellation or date change.
The series will be held at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital, which is located at 1008 W. Hazelwood Dr., Urbana, Ill. All lectures will be held in room 80 of the Small Animal Clinic. For maps and directions, visit vetmed.illinois.edu/ope/.
