One Health Illinois Summit

The purpose of the second One Health Illinois Summit is to update, through a series of presentations and discussion, the current health of Illinois human, animal and ecosystem communities; efforts to develop an integrated health surveillance system; current and recent One Health research projects; trends regarding zoonotic and infectious diseases; and current and potential health policy initiatives. As with the first One Health Summit in 2010, presentations will be summarized and an action plan for identified issues will be developed.
This summit is open to invited experts from academia, government, and the private sector.
Attendance at this summit is free. Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, breaks, and handouts. The registration deadline is extended to Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

The One Health Illinois Summit will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Champaign, Illinois.
