The registration fee covers the cost of continental breakfast, breaks, lunch, and handout materials.Payment must be enclosed to guarantee registration. The prices listed below are per person.

Course fees are payable by check or money order to the University of Illinois or by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express and are due at the time of registration. Early registration is recommended.

Students who are presenting a poster will receive complimentary registration. Upon signing up for the poster session, you will receive an email with a coupon code to use when registering for the meeting.

Meeting registration can be placed online or with the printed registration form.

Cancellation Policy
Full refunds, less a 20 percent cancellation fee, will be given if written notification is received by October 16, 2011. Written cancellation should be sent to ope@vetmed.illinois.edu or to the same mailing address to which registrations are sent. Registrations are transferable. After October 16, 2011, refunds will not be made. We reserve the right to cancel sessions and to change speakers if necessary. In the event of cancellation, all registrants will receive a full refund. We are not responsible for travel expenses in the event of a cancellation or date change.

Transportation
Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, is located near Interstates 57, 72, and 74. The community is also accessible by train via Amtrak and airplane through Willard Airport (CMI) at Savoy, which is approximately 5 miles from the hotel. Other airports in the region are Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) at Bloomington-Normal, Illinois; O’Hare International Airport (ORD) at Chicago; Midway International Airport (MDW) at Chicago; and Indianapolis international Airport (IND) at Indianapolis.

Rooms have been reserved at a group rate of $119 per night through Tuesday, September 27, 2011; this price does not include taxes. Reservations made after this date will be filled on a space availability basis. Continuing Education
Veterinarians can obtain 5.25 CEUs for attendance. Participants will receive continuing education verification at the end of the session.

Poster Session
Students are encouraged to present their research accomplishments at this meeting. As such, poster presenters will receive complimentary registration to the meeting. Upon signing up to present, students will receive an email with a coupon code and instructions for registering for the meeting.

Guidelines for Poster Presentation

  • A graphic display of photos, charts, narrative, etc. on a 40” x 60” (length x width) display board.
  • Poster displays will be set up between 11:30 a.m. and Noon in the meal room at the Hilton Garden Inn.
  • Poster presenters should officially check-in with the meeting check-in desk to obtain a name tag and meeting proceedings.
  • Meeting attendees will be viewing poster presentations at lunch (Noon-1:00 p.m.) and during the afternoon break (2:45-3:15 p.m.). Presenters are strongly encouraged to be at their board during this time.
  • Poster display materials may be removed from the boards any time after 3:15 p.m. The display boards will be removed at approximately 4:00 p.m. Any materials left on the boards will be discarded at that time.
