The purpose of the Horseman's Clinic is to increase education and awareness of all horse owners on basic and in-depth topics pertaining to a horse's health maintenance and prevention of disease.
All proceeds from this clinic will benefit the University of Illinois Student Chapter of the American Association of the Equine Veterinary Practitioners, a non-profit organization. Proceeds will be used to education future equine veterinarians of Illinois.
The registration fee covers the cost of handout materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks. Payment must be enclosed to guarantee registration. The early registration deadline is Monday, January 20, 2014.

Registration can be made online by visiting vetmed.illinois.edu/ope/horseclinic or by downloading a printable copy of the registration form. Registration is limited to 215 participants. Early registration is recommended.
Clinic fees are payable by check or money order to the University of Illinois or by Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express and are due at the time of registration.
Groups registering 10 or more individuals will receive a $10 per person discount on the registration fee. To qualify for this discount, registration must be submitted all at once and be submitted using the printed registration form. The discounted group registration fee is not available with online registration.
Course attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. The following hotels are near the College of Veterinary Medicine:

Full refunds, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be given if written notification is received by Monday, January 20, 2014. Written notification should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or to the same mailing address to which registrations are sent. Registrations are transferable. After January 20, refunds will not be made. We reserve the right to cancel programs and to change speakers if necessary. In the event of the clinic's cancellation, all registrants will receive a full refund. The University is not responsible for travel expenses in the event of a date cancellation or date change.
The clinic will be held on the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine campus, which is located on S. Lincoln Ave., in Urbana, Ill. For maps and directions, visit vetmed.illinois.edu/ope/.
All lectures will be held in room 100 of the Large Animal Clinic, which is located at 1102 W. Hazelwood Dr., Urbana, Ill. Entrance to this facility is through the courtyard area between the Large and Small Animal Clinics.
Clinic materials will be available on the day of the program just inside the entrance located off of the courtyard area between the Large and Small Animal Clinics beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Clinic attendees may park in lot F27 and follow the signs to the check-in. The entrance to this lot is off of S. Lincoln Ave. Clinic attendees should NOT park in the Large Animal Clinic parking lot. This lot is reserved for weekend clients and staff.
