Diagnostics for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians: Hematology and Urinalysis

About the Courses
In these two diagnostic courses, Dr. Anne Barger will teach you proper methods for using your in-house laboratory for hematology and urinalysis. Each course consists of lectures and laboratories to ensure thorough coverage and hands-on experience with the material presented.

About the Speaker
Anne M. Barger, DVM, DACVP, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After completing her DVM from the University of Illinois (1996), she went on to North Carolina State University for her residency. Dr. Barger has been certified with the American College of Veterinary Pathologists since 2000 and currently sits on their membership committee.

Registration
Registration is open to veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Maximum registration is 40 individuals.

The registration fee covers the cost of continental breakfast, lunch, handout materials, and laboratory expenses. Payment must be enclosed to guarantee registration. The prices listed below are per person. The early registration deadline is Sunday, February 3, 2013.

Course fees are payable by check or money order to the University of Illinois by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express and are due at the time of registration. Early registration is recommended.

Cancellation Policy
Full refunds, less a 10 percent cancellation fee, will be given if written notification is received by the applicable early registration deadline. Written cancellation should be sent to ope@vetmed.illinois.edu or to the same mailing address to which registrations are sent. Registrations are transferable. After the applicable early registration deadline, refunds will not be made. We reserve the right to cancel sessions and to change speakers if necessary. In the event of cancellation, all registrants will receive a full refund. The University is not responsible for travel expenses in the event of a cancellation or date change.

Continuing Education
Attendees can obtain 7 CEUs for attendance at each session. Participants will receive continuing education verification at the end of the session.

Location
Each session will be held at the University of Illinois Veterinary Medicine Basic Sciences Building, which is located at 2001 South Lincoln Avenue, Urbana, IL.

Check-In
Session materials will be available on the day of the session at the Veterinary Medicine Basic Sciences Building, which is located at 2001 South Lincoln Avenue, Urbana, IL. Enter through the main entrance.

Parking
Parking instructions will be provided upon registration.
