U of I Veterinary Hospital Announces "Horse Health at Halloween"

URBANA - Horse owners, take advantage of discounted horse health packages at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital on appointments scheduled for the morning of Saturday, October 24.

This one-day event, dubbed "Horse Health at Halloween," offers three package options:
    Package A includes the influenza and rhinopneumonitis vaccine, an oral examination by an equine veterinarian, and fecal sample test for parasites for $34.19.
  • Package B includes the above items plus a Coggins test for equine infectious anemia for $63.03.
  • Package C includes the Package B items plus vaccinations against tetanus and encephalitis (Eastern and Western) for only $66.33.
In addition, participating clients who schedule an equine dental treatment ("float") for a later date will receive a 20 percent discount on those dental services, and the examination fee for the date of dental service will be waived.

The October 24 examinations will be conducted at the Large Animal Clinic, 1102 West Hazelwood Drive, Urbana, by experienced equine veterinarians.
