Chicago Animal ER Opens in West Loop
Buster's stomach just got a text message. That can't be good.
No one expects their pooch to swallow a phone, but sometimes it happens. And starting Friday, July 29, Chicago pet owners will have a new option for care when the unexpected happens: Chicago Animal ER, a small animal emergency service with an incredible pedigree from the University of Illinois.
Chicago Animal ER is located at 2242 West Harrison Street, just west of the loop and next to the Eisenhower I-290 Expressway (use Western Ave exits). The service will provide caring and expert emergency care 24 hours day, 365 days a year, including holidays.
The new ER service is part of the Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine, the Chicago headquarters for the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. With the backing of the state's only veterinary college, Chicago Animal ER delivers the very best in medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment.
The compassionate veterinarians who staff the service have years of experience in emergency medicine and are assisted by outstanding technicians. All of this is offered in a state-of-the-art facility, with free off-street parking right in front of the clinic.
