Dominique Griffon is an associate professor in small animal orthopaedic surgery at the University of Illinois. She is a Diplomate of the European and American colleges of veterinary surgeons and wrote a PhD thesis on “evaluation of osteoproductive biomaterials”. Her basic science research interests are related to bone and cartilage engineering in three-dimensional scaffolds. Her clinical interests include joint surgery, minimally invasive orthopaedic surgery and clinical applications of synthetic biomaterials.
