Dues:
If you would like to join, dues for the 2008-2009 school year are $10 cash or check made out to "Lab Animal Club". Please also write your name and email on the sign-up sheet that is attached to the envelope. Dues will get you food at our lunch talks and allow you to participate in our wet labs such as rodent handling, that we will be having this year.
Lunch was provided to those who RSVP'd. A "thank you" goes out to ACLAM for their generous sponsorship that allowed us to provide lunch at this meeting.
Non-Human Primates in Research with Dr. Lisa Halliday, DVM

Dr. Lisa Halliday, the primate veterinarian, from the University of Illinois at Chicago's Laboratory Animal Facility will be visiting to discuss the use of Non-Human Primates in research. This lecture is hosted by the Laboratory Animal Medicine Club.
Animal Surgical Models in Research Lecture by Dr. Kevin Lewis

Dr. Kevin Lewis from Baxter pharmaceuticals gave a lecture on animal surgical models in research. This meeting was jointly hosted by the Lab Animal Club and the Surgery Club. All were invited to attend, but lunch was only provided to Lab Animal and Surgery Club members who RSVP'd.
