POSITION: Full-time 100% (12-month basis) Clinical Track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Anesthesia/Pain Management

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS: D.V.M. degree or equivalent.
Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists (ACVA) or European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) is required.


DUTIES: The successful candidate will be expected to participate in clinical service, veterinary and graduate student instruction and scholarly activity. The assisting of current faculty in the training of anesthesia residents will also be expected. Clinical responsibilities include anesthesia and pain management services to small and large animal patients. Teaching responsibilities included didactic, small group and laboratory instruction of veterinary and graduate students. Scholarly activity is an expectation of the College and may include independent or collaborative research, direction of graduate students, and publication of original scientific papers.

STARTING DATE: Negotiable, but ideally by the beginning of the Spring 2013 semester.
