DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital is seeking a Cardiologist to join our exceptional team of highly skilled professionals committed to providing the best veterinary specialty services available. Current DACVIM (Cardiology) board-certification is preferred but a qualified and motivated board eligible candidate will be considered.

DoveLewis is Portland’s premier non-profit emergency and critical care animal hospital and is an AAHA-certified teaching hospital. With a two-story, 22,000 square foot facility, we are fully equipped for endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT scan, and long-term ventilator support. We also have NOVA, blood gas analyzer, clotting profiles, O2 cage, EKG, pulse oximetry, and defibrillator capabilities. As a teaching hospital, we offer unique learning opportunities in addition to a significant (about 14,000 patients/year) and diverse case load. Our DVM staff of 22 includes three boarded criticalists, two boarded surgeons, a boarded radiologist, and internist. Our medical services and community programs are known around the world thanks to the passion and expertise of all of our employees.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with community veterinary practices, clients, and staff.
