We are looking for a full time veterinarian to join our two and one half doctor practice located on the border of Mount Prospect and Des Plaines in the Northwest Chicago Suburbs. Mount Plaines has been operating in Mount Prospect for over 50 years, with Dr. Ruffolo serving as the owner and director since 1999. Recently we expanded into the adjacent unit of the four unit building which the hospital is located in, adding a separate cat boarding area, dog play area, as well as a staff break room. Mount Plaines is located in a neighborhood setting with great cliental, many of whom walk to the hospital.
We are well equipped, including digital x-ray, doppler blood pressure, ECG, high speed dental, updated LED surgical lighting, and more. We enjoy great relationships with specialists in the area, and also provide veterinary accupuncture with our part time associate. Our support staff is outstanding, and most have been with the practice for 10 years or more.
We pride ourselves on providing a relaxed, collaborative, supportive work environment. Our focus is on providing the best possible care for our patients and clients, while maintaining a this special work environment. Schedule is flexible, after-hour emergencies are handled by local emergency centers. Salary will be commiserate with experience and benefits include CVMA and AVMA memberships, malpractice insurance, CE allowance and VIN membership, paid vacation leave and discounted services for pets.
