Full Time/ Part Time Veterinarian
Extremely busy, small animal veterinary clinic seeks part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our team at a long established clinic at our new state-of-the-art facility featuring diagnostics, in-house laboratory and digital radiology.
We are looking for a highly motivated, efficient applicant who will complement our team-oriented hospital. Candidate should have excellent client communication skills, be well-rounded in general medicine and proficient in surgery.
Diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases in animals.
Perform general procedures, surgery, and dentistry
Perform laboratory procedures and run diagnostic tests.
Must have good communication skills and be able to handle a busy patient load while maintaining a positive attitude.
Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
Formulate treatment plans.
Humanely euthanize animals.
Document services provided by completing forms, reports, and patient charts.
Skills and Abilities
Handle stress and pressure with poise and tact.
Computer skills in order to obtain and enter client information and diagnostic tests.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients and patients for whom the practice provides veterinary services.
Perform tasks without supervision.
Answer client questions and provide education on various aspects of animal care.
Degree in Veterinary Medicine
License in good standing with state veterinary board.
