Independence Equine and Small Animal Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic Full-Time small animal associate Veterinarian. We are a mixed practice but are housed in 2 separate buildings. Our small animal clinic treats cats, dogs, and a few avian. We are an established practice that opened in 2007. We are a busy and growing 4 doctor practice that provides progressive medicine and surgery to our expanding client base. We have recently started offering acupuncture and our clients love it. This clinic has the ability to grow in many ways. We are on track for 2017 to surpass $2.5 million in revenue. There is a lot of opportunity for the dedicated individual that has something unique to add to our practice such as homeopathic or orthopedics. Endless opportunity awaits you. We are a fully equipped hospital with easy access to board certified specialists.
This candidate must be well versed in client education and have exceptional standards for patient care and customer service. We offer reasonable hours (average work week is 32-36 hours per week). Saturday rotation. Our emergency on call is M-F 5pm – 8pm, Saturday noon – 5pm and Sunday 8am – 5pm. When our on call hours end, clients with an emergency are referred to our Emergency Hospital in Denton (approximately 30 minutes South of our clinic). We offer competitive salary, including ProSal for those interested in production with a guaranteed base, 401k, medical insurance, CE, Uniform allowance, Professional liability insurance, AVMA dues, licenses paid, Paid vacation & Sick time and we are a family friendly atmosphere. We offer a generous sign on bonus and a relocation allowance. Independence Equine and Small Animal Clinic has a strong presence in our community. We work closely with Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter and support community events.
We are conveniently located 60 miles North of DFW. Small town living with city amenities within 20-30 miles. Gainesville, Texas has a population of 16,000 and growing. We are surrounded by wonderful communities (Muenster, St. Jo, Denton, Sherman and Whitesboro to name a few). 60 miles from us you can experience the finest museums and restaurants.
