Millcreek Animal Hospital is looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to our family owned, AAHA accredited, full service veterinary hospital located in Erie, PA. We focus greatly on the client experience through education, attention to detail, and practicing high quality medicine for our patients. We are currently a one doctor practice that has grown rapidly and ready to expand. Our hospital is equipped with smart digital radiography, in hospital blood machines, stand alone ICU, dental machine with high speed drill, radiowave surgical unit, and ultrasound. We have five exam rooms and are completely paperless. We perform a large variety of elective and non-elective surgical procedures, including many orthopedic surgeries. Our hospital has developed a surgical reputation locally with the more advanced procedures that we perform. All applicants should have a basic interest and comfort level in surgery. Our clientele is primarily small animal with some pocket pets. We would love to add someone with a reptile or avian special interest to better serve the current demand in our area, but this is certaintly not a requirement. We have been blessed with clients that appreciate quality medicine for their pets and strive to provide the most progressive medicine available. All applicants should be self-motivated and driven to join us in upholding this mission for our patients. Applicants should be compassionate, team oriented, and have excellent communication skills. New graduate applicants are welcome to apply with the expectation for mentorship and growth within a practice. Our benefits package includes local and state licensing dues, health insurance, IRA, yearly continuing education allotments, and vacation time. We have a local emergency center that operates after hours, therefore no true emergency shifts are required.
