VetNetAmerica is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established and growing Large Animal Production Medicine Practice in Douglas County, IL. Practice is located in the Heart of Central Illinois and is primarily ambulatory medicine, surgery & consulting. Their clientele have a variety interests; therefore, they experience a diverse caseload. Practice is 45% Dairy, Beef and Feedlot, 45% Equine, 5% Sheep & Goats, 5% other. Practice provides weekly veterinary services to the local Livestock Sale Facility. They offer preventative medicine, herd health and emergency medical services to their clientele. This opportunity is truly unique in its offerings to an associate who is wanting to focus their career in production animal medicine. Applicants must have good animal handling skills and be confident to treat all species. Candidates with a primary equine interest will also be considered. Good communication and strong people skills are a must. On-call responsibilities will be shared. While experience is preferred, new/recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply as mentorship will be a focus.
