Associate Veterinarians Wanted:
General Practice and Emergency – Working as a Patient Care Team!
Dundee Animal Hospital is seeking two full-time Associate Veterinarians to join our AAHA-accredited practice with 3 hospitals located in Dundee, Elgin and Algonquin – approximately 40 miles west of Chicago, Illinois.
Our Dundee location is a 24-hour hospital and we operate general practices at all three locations. Established in 1958, we are proud of the excellent reputation we have built within the communities we serve and our large, loyal client base. Our hospital environments include digital diagnostic and dental radiography, full in-house lab, ultrasound and endoscopy.
The Emergency Associate position will join our team of emergency doctors and technicians specifically trained in emergency medicine. Responsibilities include the treatment of emergency patients from our three hospitals and other area hospitals with an average caseload of 8 – 16 patients per shift. Other duties include surgery, and the monitoring and continual care of all admitted and transferred hospitalized patients.
The General Practice Associate position will complement our staff of 16 general practice and emergency doctors and a support staff of over 50 team members. We encourage our doctors to pursue their individual medical interests while we offer stability and opportunity for personal growth and development.
New or recent graduates will be considered. We will provide training, mentorship and support from our experienced staff.
We offer a family-friendly culture with an open-door policy and an entrepreneurial environment. Our staff averages over 10 years of employment including many celebrating 20, 30 and even 40 years of dedication!
