Tomorrow at Fall Conference we’ll celebrate the four winners of the 2013 Dr. Erwin Small Distinguished Alumni Awards: Raymond Cypess, DVM IL' 67, Ronnie Elmore, DVM IL '72, Max Lang, DVM IL '61, and Sheldon Rubin, DVM IL '68. Dr. Sandra Manfra, who will be retiring this year after 23 years on the small animal surgery faculty, is inviting former students, colleagues, clients and friends to an open house at her farm in Philo, Ill., Saturday, September 21, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Epic: The MovieHowl at the Moon

Saturday, October 5, grab the whole family and head to the Harvest Moon, located on Route 47, 21 miles north of I-74 in Gibson City, for a special screening of Epic: The Movie, benefiting the Wildlife Medical Clinic. Gates open at 6:30 pm; the movie starts at 7:30 pm. $6 per person; kids 5 years and younger (& dogs) are free. Rain or shine.
