JULY 2011 EDITION

FROM THE DEAN

For most of us, Illinois Homecoming doesn't start until October. But for Dr. Brendan McKiernan, it started this July, when he returned to Urbana as the new director of the same veterinary teaching hospital where he completed both a small animal internship and a small animal internal medicine residency.  He went on to stay at Illinois for many years, as a member of the department of veterinary clinical medicine faculty, before returning to private practice in 1998. Please join me in welcoming back Dr. McKiernan and wishing him great success in his new role. Read more about Dr. Brendan McKiernan in the spotlight below.
