Professional Interests:

My clinical and research interests include the health and conservation of free-ranging and captive wildlife, including mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates, and birds.  Specifically, I am interested in the epidemiology of diseases or syndromes that affect reptiles and amphibians.  Also, I am committed to the development of treatment modalities that improve the quality of life of non-traditional species through comparative pharmacokinetic research.  I believe in combining clinical, research, and teaching activities, especially as it relates to conservation of free-ranging species.
