EVP Online is a Web-based continuing education program specifically developed for busy veterinarians looking to enhance their knowledge and increase their clinical skills. EVP Online delivers professionally developed, university-level courseware in an interactive environment.

The best part of EVP Online is that courses can be taken at the office or home, and at any time and at your own pace. All that is needed is a computer and Internet access.

Enrollment

Course Registration

Registration for a course/module is available online from the individual Course pages with a secure credit card payment. Once the Office of Public Engagement receives your information with your advance payment, your registration will be activated.

It will take 24-48 hours Monday through Friday (excluding weekends and holidays) to process your registration. We will notify you by e-mail when your registration has been processed. You will be assigned a username and a password, which will enable you to access your module(s) 24 hours, seven days a week. The first time you login, you will be given an opportunity to change your password to one that you prefer. You will have access to the module(s) for 60 days.

EVP Online is developed and managed by the Office of Public Engagement at the College of Veterinary MedicineUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. VEO’s mission is to provide high-quality, university-level continuing education courseware to veterinarians and licensed, certified or registered veterinary technicians nationwide.

Course modules are designed to enhance knowledge and increase clinical skills as well as provide continuing education credit required by some state regulatory boards*.

The Office of Public Engagement at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois will grant continuing education credit upon successful completion of courseware assessment.

We advise you to check with your state’s regulatory board to ensure acceptance of online continuing education credit for the purposes of state license requirements. Please note: The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine is an American Veterinary Medical Association Accredited institution.  However, the college is not an approved RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education) provider.
The courses currently available on Veterinary Education Online are designed to provide continuing education credit for veterinarians. Some modules are approved for continuing education for licensed, certified or registered veterinary technicians.  Participants must have the knowledge base needed for these courses, and enrollment is therefore limited to veterinarians or licensed, certified or registered veterinary technicians.
Enrollment is handled through the University Based Learning Management Center, which is open only during business hours.
You will have access to the material for 60 days from the date of your enrollment.
Because NetID and passwords are case-sensitive, please make sure that you are entering the data in the correct case. If you are still having problems, contact the Office of Public Engagement to have your password reset. This may take time, so please keep a copy of your assigned NetID and password in a place that is easy for you to find.
Be sure that you complete the browser tests AND Learning Management Browser Tune-Up before enrolling. The tests are at Technical Requirements. It is very important that you note the technical requirements found on these pages. The course help site and the Office of Public Engagement can provide some basic technical assistance. However, we do not have a dedicated technical assistant on staff.
Courses are non-refundable once you have been enrolled. You have 60 days to complete the course.
