Aditi Das Receives AHA Scientist Development Grant

The American Heart Association has awarded Aditi Das, an assistant professor in the Department of Comparative Biosciences, a Scientist Development Grant for her research on the link between consumption of dietary omega-3 fatty acids and cardiovascular health.  The stated purpose of this grant mechanism is stated by AHA as:  To support highly promising beginning scientists in their progress toward independence by encouraging and adequately funding research projects that can bridge the gap between completion of research training and readiness for successful competition as an independent investigator.” 

AHA Scientist Development Grant guidelines
