Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine:
Since its founding on the University of Illinois Urbana campus in 1948, the College of Veterinary Medicine has served the state and the veterinary profession by educating students and the public, contributing to biomedical and agricultural knowledge, and caring for animals of all species.
In establishing the Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine in 2009, the state’s only veterinary college exponentially expanded its ability to pursue a mission of education, service, and discovery. The Center acts as an umbrella organization for our teaching, research, and public engagement initiatives in the Chicago area. With the ability to reach more animals, more animal owners, more prospective students, and more research collaborators, the college can create more partnerships to make us better at what we do.
We invite you to learn more about the programs within this initiative and to contact us to discuss how the Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine can assist you or your organization.
