DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a lecture on Renal Transplantation presented by visiting lecturer Dr. Heidi Phillips, VMD, DACVS. \n\nWHEN:  Monday, November 9th, 2009  from 8am-9:30am \nWHERE: 80 SAC\n\nHeidi Phillips, VMD, Diplomate ACVS is a member of the Renal Transplantation Team at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Phillips received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania where she also completed a rotating internship and a residency in small animal surgery. She completed her residency in 2005 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2006. She spent a short time in a private referral practice in Pittsburg, PA before becoming a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. The University of Pennsylvania has a busy kidney transplant service and Dr. Phillips has been involved during all aspects of her education there, student, intern, resident and now lecturer. \n\nWhile Dr. Phillips will be presenting for CVM 584 and VCM 591, all are invited and welcome to attend.\n
