DESCRIPTION:Therio/NTS/AAFP clubs have invited Dr. Jason Herrick, an assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Biosciences, to speak about his research. Dr. Herrick is currently researching assisted reproductive technologies to help manage and conserve captive Sand Cat populations, which are native to the United Arab Emirates. He will be covering topics in his talk regarding this species (and possibly others he has worked with) and discuss various reproductive technologies used in preservation efforts.
