VTH Tour: LAC 100 Lobby

Directly above us is the large auditorium where third-year veterinary students receive lectures. We have just left the Small Animal Clinic and are about to enter the Large Animal Clinic.

Most of our diagnostic imaging modalities are located in the Large Animal Clinic. That means small animal patients are transported through this walkway to get radiographs (X-rays), ultrasounds, CTs, or MRIs. In 2018 we became one of very few veterinary colleges to have an MRI with a powerful 3-Tesla magnet, In 2020, we added a second CT (computed tomography) machine with advanced imaging capabilities that is used to plan radiation therapy in our linear accelerator for cancer patients.
