Here since 1990.
My job involves clinical investigations including epidemiological studies of dental disease in the dog and cat and the development of techniques and models to improve the recognition and treatment of periodontal and endodontic disease in these species.
I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to work with many talented individuals and helps provide me with the resources to make a difference in the educational experience of veterinary students, interns and residents while giving me the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of veterinary dentistry.
When I'm not here I enjoy reading, baking, working in my garden and spending time with my family, friends and pets including our horse, Ben, my miniature donkey, Eeyore (my personal favorite), our dogs, Nala Jean and Virgil, our cats DC, Shadow and Sammy and our fish.
I give here because I believe in the importance of a strong veterinary education. By donating to the College of Veterinary Medicine I feel that I am able to make a difference in the quality of education our students receive.
