A Short List of Vet Med Funds

  • Achievement Fund: for awards and scholarships for students, faculty and alumni activities, the veterinary library, and special events at the College. (334415)
  • CARE Pet Loss Helpline: a student-run service that provides compassionate support for people experiencing grief over the loss of a companion animal. (330732)
  • Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine: for the establishment of an going presence in Chicago. (334317)
  • Friends of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital: for overall hospital needs; gifts may be designated for a particular specialty area or section. (334406)
  • Humane Connection Fund: so clinicians and students can provide care that goes the extra mile for a hospital patient, espe­cially rescued or shelter animals. (331042)
  • Pathobiology Unrestricted Fund: for un­restricted use by the department. (775226)
  • Pet's Place: For support of a program at Vet Med to care for pets of women who are being assisted by the Woman's Place shelter in Champaign. (330888)
  • Rathgeber Academic Professional Excellence Award Fund: to fund the award which recognizes exemplary performance and professionalism. . (772882)
  • Shirley Seets Endowment Fund for Veterinary Staff Improvement: to fund
    the award which is given annually to one individual who has demonstrated
    excellence in overall job performance and service. (773460)
  • VCM General Fund: supports general VCM activities. (334404)

  • VB Unrestricted Fund: supports travel to meetings for students and staff and computer lab enhancements. (336107)
  • Wildlife Medical Clinic: a student-op­erated non-profit program that treats 2,000 injured or ill wild patients annually. (33452)
